It also improves the mechanical properties of higher heat deflection temperature, the chlorine content increases from 56.7% to 63-69%, Vicat softening temperature rises from 72-82 °C to 90-125 °C. And its highest service temperature can reach 110 °C and long-term service temperature 95 °C. Hence, CPVC is a new engineering plastic with promising prospect.
