DOTP is a multi para benzene plasticizer, chemically named dioctyl terephthalate. It has good electrical and thermal properties and can replace DOP as a benzene plasticizer in PVC plastic electrical wire sheaths. It can also be used in the production of synthetic leather films. In addition, DOTP has excellent compatibility and can also be used for plasticizing acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyral, rubber, nitrocellulose, etc. It plays a role in improving the hardness and deformability of products. It can be used as a softener in rubber, chloroprene rubber, EPDM rubber and other products.
